Scoir Mascot: Elle the Squirrel
This project showcases the process of how I redesigned Scoir’s mascot, Elle the Squirrel. We wanted to utilize her in social posts and marketing campaigns, but first, we wanted to give her a makeover!
The original Elle
Sketches
We envisioned the new vision of Elle with realistic colors and a friendlier appearance.
Mockups
After replicating and modifying the sketches in Illustrator, the next task was to finalize the coloring and details.
Final Illustrations & Color Palette
To achieve Elle’s final look, I added gradients to her fur and tail, while also making the colors warmer and less contrasting. In order to give her a softer look, I removed the freckles and adjusted the positioning of her eye highlights.
After finalizing her primary look, I created a library of Elle’s various primary poses.
Landing Page
As part of the social media launch, we published Elle’s dedicated landing page that takes the readers through her story.
Thank You Page
I redesigned our ‘thank you page’ template to include Elle as a delightful addition.
